Quartz drilling team advances boreholes using direct push methods with the drill rig for hydropower/mining projects and mud rotary drilling or hollow stem auger methods using advanced drill rig for geotechnical borings.

Soil borings are advanced as per ASTM D1586/D1586M-18 – Standard Test Method for Standard Penetration Test (SPT) and Split Barrel Sampling of Soils. Rock coring is performed as per ASTM D2113-14 – Standard Practice for Rock Core Drilling and Sampling of Rock for Site Exploration, which includes wireline rock coring as well.
